NCPSL was established on 26-05-1994. The aim and object of the NCPSL is promotion & propagation of Sindhi Language & Literature though various approved schemes from Government.
One of the schemes is “Award Scheme” in which N.C.P.S.L. distributed award to eminent writers etc.
The NCPSL organized the Award Function on 19-07-2009 at Shriram Center, Mandi House, New Delhi. The eminent writers, poets, members of NCPSL and other invitee were coming form all over the India for this purpose.
In the beginning our new Vice-Chairman Mr. Shrikant Bhatia welcomed to Chief guest Mr. Suresh A. Keswani, Ex M.P. & Ex Vice-Chairman of NCPSL, other guest Mr. I.S. Israni, Senior Member and other Members of council, Awardees and other invitees.
Award Function started after the lighting of lamp. The new Vice-Chairman was given a warmfull & beautiful speech. He assured that in his tenure NCPSL will flourish very fast and all the schemes of NCPSL run parallel for the promotion of Sindhi Language & literature.
He informed that NCPSL will connect our new generation with NCPSL. Vice-Chairman specially forced for development of Sindhi Language with the help of Electronic Media. He announced that in near future NCPSL will organize seminars, programmes, Kavi-Samelans etc. in ruler areas to interact and connect local people with NCPSL.
Vice-Chairman also announced a meeting of representatives of Sindhi Panchyats, Sindhi organization & Sindhi important peoples of Delhi on 25th July, 2009 at India Islamic Center, New Delhi. The aim of the said meeting is coordination among Sindhi Panchayat for their valuable suggestion about promotion and Propagation of Sindhi Language, Literature & Schemes of NCPSL.
Awards were distributed among the awardees i.e. Dr. Dayal Asha, Mr. Hotu ’Sindhu Pyasi’, Ms. Veena Shringi, Dr. Jetho Lalwani, Mr. Harkishan Samtani, Issar Parwani, Hinduja Nand ’Anand’ & Dr. M.K. Jetly. NCPSL also distributed Special Award to Mr. Mangharam Siphimalani & Dr. Arjun Sikkayal.
Followed by Award Ceremony ballet of world famous Ms. Anila Sunder & his troupe were performed with the heart touching commentary by Dr. Baldev Matlani which was appreciated by all the viewers.
Vote of thanks was given by the Dr. Manoharlal B. Matlani, Director, NCPSL.
The whole programme was compared by Ms. Renu Idnani, Member, and NCPSL.The programme ended with the Lunch.
