Project Report Our Heritage National Seminar at New Delhi

The National Council for the Promotion of Sindhi Language (NCPSL) and Maruee had organized a two day seminar on November 22 and 23 at Russian Cultural Center in New Delhi. The topic of the seminar was ‘Our Heritage’

The program was dedicated to “Didi Nirmala Deshpande”. 

Two books- Tun-Chhapar-Tun-Chanv by veena shringi and Kian Visariyan Verichan by Shalini Sagar were released during the seminar and four papers, namely, Asanjo –Virso Libas Aien , Asanjun -Ritiyun-Rasmu, Asanja –Din-Vaar and Piroliyoon were presented by various members of Maruee. 

In addition to the members of the Sindhi Academy, Delhi and the NCPSL, the seminar was attended by writers, poets , scholars ,educationists and artists from Mumbai, Ahemadabad, Bhavnagar, Ulhasnagar, Jaipur Lucknow, Vadodra, Pune and Bhopal.

Literary Seminar at Jabalpur

National Council for Promotion of Sindhi Language and Akhil Bharat Sindhi Boli Sahitya Sabha organized two day All India Literary Seminar on 19th & 20th September 2009 at Bheraghat, Jabalpur. nder the theme of “Yaad” ,two day seminar was dedicated to the life and works of four personalities.

Chief Guest , honourable speaker of Madhya Pradesh Legislative Assembly Shri Ishwar Das Rohani inaugurated the seminar and welcoming the writers attending the seminar expressed happiness that Jabalpur has been selected for the same .He also expressed the hope that in future also Jabalpur will find favour and he will  be glad to extend all the possible help.

Vice chairman apprised the delegates about existing schemes of NCPSL and also  highlighted the future programmes like online learning and Sindhi Programmes to be telecast on the Doordarshan. He invited new and innovative proposals from the delegatesdelegates. 

Kolkata Seminar Report at Kolkata on 7th and 8th November

NCPSL in association with the Sindhi Council of India East Zone Kolkata organised a two-day Seminar on the topic “Sindhi Lok Sahitya Ju Surmiyoon (Heroines of Sindhi Folk Literature)” directed by Durga Tharwani with the Financial Assistance by the NCPSL.

It was two day programme, wherein 7th November was scheduled for a 2 session seminar The Ist session of the seminar was Chaired by Mrs. Renu Idnani,the Paper Reader being Smt.Rita Shahni and Discussant being Smt.Kamla Goklani.while the Chairperson of the 2nd session was Dr.Baldev Matlani,Paper Reading was done by Smt. Maya Rahi and Discussant was Smt. Vimmi Sadarangani. held at New Kenilworth Hotel and 8th November for a Cultural Programme held at Gyan Manch .

The invitees were entertained through a Short Cultural Programme on the 8th November .The Inauguration Ceremony & Lamp Lighting Ceremony was done by Chief Guest Shri Suresh Keswani and his fellow members, who were welcomed by mellifluous song sung by Smt Koshi Lalwani.

It was vivacious programme which helped the Sindhi young generation to learn and promote Sindhi Language and Literature all over India.
