Malhi Cultural Academy with the financial assistance of National Council for Promotion of Sindhi Language, New Delhi presented a Sindhi cultural Programme“Yaad Preein Ji”on Sunday 9.08.09 at C.C. Mehta hall, MS University Campus, Baroda (Gujarat ) .On this occasion Dance ballet by Anila Sunder “Sik Sajan Ji” was performed . Shri Ram Jethamalai has graced the occasion as Chief Guest and Guest of honour were Shri Hardas Makhija (Ex. Mayor, Ulhasnagar), Shri Amarlal Chhabria (Philanthropist), Shri Chander Herani, Shri Haresh Malani (Baroda) and Haresh Jethmalani (Baroda) were present.
The programme was started with the traditional of lighting of lamp by chief guest Shri Ram Jtethmalani and other Guest of honour Shri Hardas Makhija, Shri Amarlal Chhabria, Shri Haresh Malani , Shri Ram Jawhrani, Chairman of Malhi Cultural Academy and Shobha Chandani, Sectratery Of Malhi Cultural Academy. And then first half of Dance ballet based on folk stories and festivals & tradition of Sindhi was presented by Anila Sundra . Thereafter , stage function was held , Chief Guest and other Guest of honour were honoured on the stage . National Annual Awards to Sindhi writer, Shri Hero Thakkar and Artist Shri Chander Sarvani were given and the momentous were also given to Shri Haridas Makhija , Shri Amarlal Chhabriya . Shri Ram Jawhrani enlighten the audience regarding the activities of Malhi Cultural Acdemy in his introductory speech and then Shri Haridas Makhija spoke few words and lastly Chief Guest Ram Jethamalani addressed the gathering and spoke about Sindhi Culture and qualities of Sindhis. In the end of the stage function , Convenor Shri Murli Bhojwani gave vote of thanks. . Lastly Shri Ram Jawhrani expressed vote of thanks to National Council For Promotion Of Sindhi Language (NCPSL) and his Vice Chairman Shrikant Bhatia and Dr. Manohar Matlani , Director , NCPSL .
Thareafter the 2nd half of Dance ballet of “Sik Sajan Ji” was presented . The anchoring for Dance ballet was done by Mr.Baldev Matlani and for stage function anchoring was done by Shobha Chandani.
