Atal Pension Yojana 2023: Atal Pension Yojna (APY) is a Social Security Scheme by Govt of India. This scheme's motive is to provide a steady stream of income after the age of 60 to all citizens of India. A permanent Retirement Account Number (PRAN) will be provided to the subscriber immediately by the bank branch. It is based on National Pension Scheme (NPS) framework.

Atal Pension Yojana (APY) saw over 79 lakh people subscribing to the scheme during FY 2020-21. The Central Government of India has come out with certain steps in order to increase enrolment under the Atal Pension Yojana (APY).

PFRDA, India’s pension regulator, is looking to add 10-12 lakh new subscribers in pension schemes by the current financial year that ends in March. More than 15 lakh new subscribers have become a part of the Atal Pension Yojana (APY) via the State Bank of India (SBI). Under the APY scheme, you have a choice to get a Fixed Monthly Pension amount from Rs. 1000, Rs.2000, Rs. 3000, Rs. 4000, and Rs. 5000 by paying a monthly subscription.

Contribution Period: Minimum 20 years
Exit Age: 60 years
